sight was very cool! I own a 87 sr5 coupe (work in progress). I would like to find a gts parts car to do the conversion, although here in northern Va these cars are so rare. strangely 84-87 celicas are all over. I've thought of using parts off of one, maybe rear diff and such.

Hi Mate, I'm female from AU who has the same red RT72 and I love your snow video. I was thinking of selling, but now I feel compelled to fix this thing up to how it should be. The engine and underneath stuff is mainly done, but the paint and cosmetics are chronic. I've had it for 30 years and over the last 3yrs it's got really ugly looking. Hey Migs, Just wanted to say that you have a great site here and I really enjoy it. Now, I have a few questions for you... I have recently purchased an AE86 of my own and I was wondering where I could look up the part numbers for the Japanese Domestic Toyota parts (Zenki Bumpers, Trueno Grille Emblem, GT Apex labels, etc) and where I could locate a new rear hatch, as the one that is currently on there is rusted beyone repair. Hi Migs. Nice site. It is nice to see a site about drifting and ae86's that seams pretty informative. I've been into drifting for years now, physicaly only 2. I want a gt-s pretty bad. I sold a 1993 240 sx about a year ago thinking it would be easier than it was to get a gt-s. Oh well, anyways maybe we'll run into each other and drift one day. Thanks for your time. Steve

Just came across your website while searching in google for "AE86 driveshaft carrier bearing". Website looks great, and the Corolla looks even better. Nice sight Migs. I need help finding replacement rear quarter panels for my 86. On a side note, in Canada the differences in the sr5 and gts are not as great as 1 would think. Because of crash safety and such the chassis is actually very much the same. In regard to the driveline yes there are differences. But if you find a minty sr5 and have a donor rusted out gts to yank the motor,tranny, and rear end out of you'd essentially have a real 86. Thanx. Dill driftin86s@hotmail.com

You're a great guy (even if you dislike the 240sx), and based on what I've heard, a great driver (you'll have to show me what you and that AE86 can do someday), keep up the good work! And even though I know nothing about the AE86 lifestyle, or the car itself, your site is great. I live in austin texas and have been looking from a drivable corolla GT-S myself but have found nothing for the past year and a half. Nice web site dude ! Concerning your article on caliper sliders, here's a tip to clean the hole in the caliper. Take a round piece of metal (C), cut a slice in it (A), insert the thing in a drill (not shown in the picture) put sand paper in the slice.
